I do. I'm Jack Troeger, a retired 9th grade Earth Science teacher at Ames High School in Ames, Iowa. I taught 28 years and retired from teaching in June 1999. I love teaching, but I have found other tasks to fill my days and nights.

I'm extraordinarily thankful that earth science has been my passion. I can't remember a time in my life when I wasn't passionate about it and I always will be. As you can plainly see, I also love dalmatians. I don't have one myself, YET; but I collect them in all manner and variety. My classroom was littered (no pun intended...literally!) with them. Now my home is completely covered. If I had the place, time, and money, I'd have 101 real dalmatians. I am also an avid amateur astronomer.
